Sunshine at the Civic Centre

I am attending a conference at Newcastle Civic Centre this week. I've blipped a pic of the River God Tyne statue as one of my first blips as I've always found this building fascinating. It's actually the first time that I've been inside and it's fabulous! Like a time machine to the 60-70s! Will blip some pics from inside over the next 2 days to capture that.
At lunch time we went and sat outside on the grass just in front of this pic, it was really warm and sunny. I noticed how blue the sky was and totally clear not a single cloud and thought that it made a lovely backdrop to catch another photo of the wonderful architecture.
