Happy New Year

Got up late this morning (no change there shouts Corin) and got ready for a little jaunt over to the Pool to meet up with Mobilevirgin, Sollergirl, Dailyground and family members.

Had a wonderful Chinese meal - so much food came out that I seriously thought we were going to be shamed by leaving stacks of it. However, everyone except me did a masterful job of tackling the food mountain, with Corin valiantly stepping in, when everyone had finished, to hoover up what was left (with Ben helping out with the crispy duck!). Chinese was agreed, as James had quite clearly told me "yep, lunch is great, chinese is great, as long as I can have Crispy duck".

Lovely to see DG again, fantastic to finally meet SG and family - the children soon became best pals - drawn together by the Nintendo DS!

MV once again attempted to induce hypothermia by taking us to the wheel at Liverpool 1. James and Ben thought better of it so stayed on desk with Sam and rampaged around together, which was lovely to watch.

Thanks to you guys - it was a wonderful relaxed afternoon - it was good of you to let us share in your family time. Mrs Pepperpot is FANTASTIC!
