A perfect day....

....for cricket. The sun was shining and there was not a cloud in the sky, but by this afternoon these huge clouds came bubbling up and I was not sure whether we would get some rain.

Thomas was number 3 batsman and spent the time warming up in the nets. The opposition were not very strong and after being all out for 50 runs in the first half, in the second half we managed to get to 51 runs with no wickets taken and so Thomas did not get a chance to bat.

Still, it was a pleasant afternoon sitting in the sunshine and we even got a cup of tea and some lovely scones.
