Spinning Vinyl

Technical challenge week 2 Wildcard, a composite picture made up of 4 images, the scooter rider, the LP (Dusty Springfield), the wood texture and the plastic texture. And before anyone asks, I don't have a record player which is why I had to create one in Photoshop. The thing I really like about compositing is that the only limit to what you can create is your imagination. It's possibly my favourite outlet for my photography.

Adult panto last night was a mixed bag. 1st half was pretty dire although many people were laughing so hard I'm sure they were in danger of wetting themselves. 2nd half improved to the extent that I think I may have smile once, possibly even twice. If so, that is a record and worthy of note. I go because it is a good social event that starts with a pre-theatre meal and ends with a drink. Sadly, the meal was a let down this year. Poor service and the pizzas were inedible. Needless to say we didn't pay for them.

Back to the barrels for a drink. They had a disco. A bit Bhangra themed as the owners are Indian. Rather good actually. Highlight was when they played one of those tracks where you dance as though you are screwing in a light bulb and there was a guy playing a Bhangra drum (dohl) along to the music. Fantastic photo opportunity. Shame I didn't have the camera. Note to self. Remember to carry the camera with you at all time!
