Could have done with one of these today

Diana (SWMBO) has gone to Norwich today to visit the Nephew at university. This left me to do the weekly shop.

Asda is our local supermarket but I'm not a fan, so I decided to drive to our nearest Morrisons in Letchworth. Got there only to realise that you have to pay to park and I had no cash!

No worries, I decied to drive back home and cross town to shop at Sainsbury's. My daughter always tells me how quiet it is when she shops there. So, 20 miles on the clock and 45 minutes of my day gone and I arrive at Sainsbury's. 4 laps of the car park later and I still haven't found a space.

I give in, swallow my pride and head to Asda where I get parked, get everything I wanted and am heading home about 2 hours after I originally set out.

In summary, 25 miles and 2 hours to do a small shop and all for the want of a little £1 coin.

Still, having shopped at Asda after all, we now have the pleasure of trying to guess what animal(s) we are eating:-)
