Mini Me

Week 2 of the technical challenge and as I plan to do a portrait for the High Key topic, I'm putting this in as my alternative portrait entry. It is me after all :-)

The picture is based on a tiny figurine (only 10 mm tall) pictured in the moss on our sun dial. The paint had flaked off his face, so I overlayed my own face in Photoshop. For DDW's February alphabet challenge, H is for Handyman.

Hoping to make some progress with the cloakroom this weekend, but I'm not expecting to achieve much today as the rugby is on at 2:30 and we leave for the adult panto at 4. Tomorrow will be better.

Luke confirmed that the clothes we posted out to China for Cary had arrived yesterday. He brought them online when he was here for Xmas, but they didn't arrive in time for him to take them back with him. Cary is pretty tiny by European standards, so Luke brought a UK size 6. He says that next time he will have to buy a size 4 as some of them are too big! I think I need to start eating Chinese regularly to keep the weight in check. Of course that wouldn't work as what we consider to be a Chinese meal bears little resemblance to the daily diet of you average Chinese citizen. Goodness knows what Cary would make of the Chinese buffet we had on Wednesday.
