The Hootsman.....

....edited and printed in Edinburgh since 1817...edited in Edinburgh since 1817, printed in Cardonald (Glasgow) since yesterday. An inevitable sign of the times for printed newspapers is the fate of The Scotsman's state of the art print works, located until Saturday opposite Blipcentral (technically speaking Leith, but lets not split hairs).

I know I'm not the only one to lament the end of national newspaper production in Edinburgh after 192 years.

The The Edinburgh Ill-informed and Tattle has also headed west too.

Anyone want to buy a printer?
