Dog day!

Today was a federal holiday, Martin Luther King day. Because of the holiday and a clear blue sky, there were a lot of dogs out at the dog park. I wish I could capture the energy and peacefulness of this place. There is energy because the dogs and their people are happy here. What's not to love about the place? Water, open fields, trees, birds and happy dogs. The park is also peaceful because of all us "dog people" -- people who enjoy being in the outdoors with their dogs -- enjoy the space so very much.
