When all else fails

I carried my camera around on a five mile walk today. I didn't find a shot. In the evening, my husband called me before he left for home and said, "The sky is spectacular." I jumped in the car even though I was almost out of gas and drove to different vantage points. Yes, the sky was spectacular. Still, I didn't get a shot.

I was desperate to get a blip last night so I turned to my favorite subject, my dog. I love how he might be perfectly still but the eyes are busy.
