Sammamish River & the Marymoor Off-Leash Park

I have a Sunday ritual and that is meeting up with friends, Cheryl & Brian, to take our dogs "Doggy Disneyland", which is the off-leash dog park at Marymoor park.

While the park is 40 acres of a great romp for dogs, it's also very beautiful for their human companions. We walk a 1.8 mile loop and part of it goes along the Sammamish river.

Part of the year, the river is blocked off because of Salmon spawning. Other times, some areas of the park are blocked because of Egrets nesting.

Today, the park was nestled in fog but that did not deter dog owners with their dogs.
