Fortrose Harbour
Another early morning walk. It was such a beautiful sunrise I decided to take the dogs down to the beach when it would've quiet. We took a detour to see the sky from Fortrose Harbour, I left the dogs in the car whilst I walked around the harbour. There was no-one else around and it was peaceful and beautiful. I disturbed a small flock of ducks, which I was sorry for, but then I enjoyed watching them swim out into the firth gradually getting smaller and eventually disappearing from sight. I needed a bit of time to think as I had just heard some upsetting news about a fellow dog walker, whose dog had been killed, and he himself hurt quite badly the previous day.
We then drove to the beach. The dogs had such fun chasing the ball in and out of the sea, we met a lady walking her dog whom we usually come across in the early morning and whom the dogs love. They made a fuss of her and her elderly dog and we exchanged a few words about the sky and the weather and how lucky we were when so many people have suffered so badly in the floods. We then talked about how we should appreciate every moment as we never know what is going to happen in the future.
