I can see .........

Poppy loves gazing into the distance, from the summit of a hill, across the fields, out to sea and here from the top of a very high rock on the beach. I always wonder what she is thinking as she stands gazing. Usually I can pinpoint what has caught her attention, a strange noise, another dog barking, someone she recognises in the distance, a smell but on this occasion the beach was empty, there are no animals like pheasants or deer to grab her attention, so it must have either been a bird or a smell, or perhaps she just likes looking and thinking. Do dogs think?
