Ferry Point

The dogs are not amused today.

1. I declined the joys of trudging for an hour and a half along a forest track in sleet and snow in an icy wind. Admittedly we would have had lots of doggy company, but still it didn't appeal.

2. We aborted our replacement walk up the Cats Back because of the aforementioned gale.

3. I chose a dogless photo to blip when they had already supplied me with lots of appealing poses.

I noticed this tree the other day, when we did our litter pick. When the sun came out I realised that today was just the right time to go back for another look. So the dogs did get another walk and I got my photo in the sunshine.
