A slice of Lesley's life

Little Red Riding Coat

Woke just in time to bid our visitors a bon voyage. Always a sad moment. It's all been rather lovely.

Though nice to have a few days to gradually get the house back to normal and face the start of term admin without too much rush. Carl was originally going to be working today and tomorrow so me and the kids had theatre tickets this afternoon. Turns out Jackson was a little broken from all the late nights and partying so fortunately Carl had decided to have holiday instead so they stayed home watched football and Star Wars and played with Lego.

Meanwhile Anna and I headed down to the Southbank to see Emil and the Detectives at the National Theatre. The weather was a complete contrast to yesterday and it was beautiful to walk across Hungerford Bridge from Embankment under blue skies and glorious sunshine. The play was fantastic and Anna the very best company.

Home for some more gentle tidying, an early night for the kids and some Sherlock for us.
