Not pancake day

I'm so behind on blip which mainly represents an extraordinarily busy and sociable few days. After a final pancake breakfast with guests and many friends before people departed for onward journeys and errands we assumed today would be quieter and less sociable. It largely was with the four of us having a fun outing to see the 3rd Night of the Museum film. And then back to sociable with a text from some friends who just happened to be having a quick drink in the pub at the end of our road. Would have been rude not to pop down and wish them a happy new year.

Home for a fine Carlos fish curry, the wonderful Esio Trot, last night's Miranda and a heartily enjoyable few episodes of Would I Lie To You.

The quietness begins tomorrow...
