Earlham House
Beautiful bright, blue sky day so, as I'm not back at work until the 6th, I took a stroll around our neighbourhood where we've lived since 2000. Ours is a small terraced house but just a couple of streets away are huge houses which ours could fit into about four times over. The people who live round here are a mix of students, young families, older people who have lived here for donkeys years, and people like me and Rol - people who will probably end up living round here for donkeys years.
About 10 mins walk from our house is the Earlham House complex which includes the Co-op, a couple of international delis, post office, couple of takeaways, a butcher, an art shop and gallery which showcases the work of people supported by NANSA (Norfolk and Norwich Scope Association) and an eye-wateringly expensive grocery shop.
This photo is of a staircase leading up to some of the flats in Earlham House, which was the focus of some controversy when it was redeveloped recently. You can read about it here.
