Everyday I Write The Book

Productivity

I wonder what the productivity curve in Britain looks like as we get closer to Christmas? If today is anything to go by it must drop off pretty sharply. Very nice atmosphere I have to say. Lots of Christmas jumpers and headgear in evidence as per today's blip courtesy of misses S and J.

The irrepressible Dr K dropped by en route from Oman to New York, and there was a lot of hugging and laughter - probably the most popular person in the organisation until she left in September.

We had a bring-and-share lunch and people bought lots of lovely food - the table in our big meeting room looked like a feast had been laid. I took a side of salmon roasted with juniper berries.

Did a silly quiz in the afternoon and finished at 4pm. The weather was atrocious so I avoided the sixteen mile tailback and drove home on the dark but relatively quiet back roads. TSM had been super efficient and the house looked lovely to come home to.

Christmas day recipes planned. Looking for a relaxing day tomorrow.

Two more sleeps.
