You'll always find me in the kitchen at Christmas

Had several calls because the office was flooded today and we had to shut down and send the staff home. I wasn't actually at work so was just handling things on the phone. As usual people pulled together and got the job done.

Spent all day making yule logs, spiced red cabbage, juniper salmon (again) ... TSM made raspberry cream coconut bites, chocolate brownies, quiche, soup and potato salad. We swopped a couple of early pressies. I gave her a new mixer and a Kath Kidson apron, she gave me a mandolin. Brilliant.

Had supper and played Articulate which got a bit uproarious and was great fun.
