Had a lovely afternoon in London - couple of last minute presents from Covent Garden, cheese buying in Borough Market (and boy did we buy cheese), and generally enjoying the very laid back and not too crowded capital on the last weekend before Christmas.

Met the Girl Racer and her Mr M who flew in from Madrid yesterday - an Ozzie on his first trip to the UK who will be staying with us over Christmas. Had coffee in Notes and chewed the fat. Really relaxed.

The saga of the salmon and the coffee table when we got home could not put a dent in a lovely day (it's a long story).
