Cafe Fifty 3

It has been some time since I last blipped a shot of one of the shopkeepers in the Mitcham Shopping Centre. Today we had a light lunch at the small and reasonably new Cafe Fifty 3. It was superb food.

They specialise in light lunches, desserts, coffee and tea. Plus free internet! The manager has worked in restaurants in USA and is quite a character. I asked him if I could step behind the counter and take a photo of him preparing our black coffees. He agreed but said I should not expect him to smile.

Also took a shot of one of his female staff who was preparing our lunch of fugazza. She later approached me and asked about my camera settings, as it turns out she is a photographer in night clubs.

As I had an iPad with me I gave her a very brief short course on Blip, and my card (with email address), and asked her to contact me if she wanted any more info re possibly joining Blip!

More serious face.

Many of the other shops had staff with Xmas outfits, so I can see some rich pickings coming up!
