Sulphur Crested hanging by a beak

Thanks to my blip friends for all of the comments, stars and favourites for my Mount Lofty Summit Sunset yesterday.

Today instead of sky it is something sort of connected with sky, namely this sulphur crested cockatoo. I heard this loud screeching outside the family room window, and there he was in the tree, trying to grab some seed out of the bird feeder.

The feeder is really designed for much smaller birds, hence this poor cockatoo's struggle for grip and balance.

More precarious.

He did stay quite a while till he had had enough to eat. Mission accomplished.
