Bad hair day ?

A gorgeous morning. Blustery, bright and sharply chilly.

The pool cover had blown off last night so the water temperature was a bit down. I didn't mind; it wasn't full of people. The wind continued and my flip flops blew into the water a couple of times.

And the sunlight is mesmerising (although hard to photograph in some respects).

I went for a walk just near my home. There were lots of foreign ladybirds on the wall by the old churchyard and the changing tree colours were superb.

But this solitary highland coo, with his topknot blowing in the wind just stole the show.
