"Hope Logos" ship visit

Yesterday morning I went to a coffee morning on this ship, which is visiting Bahrain. The ship is manned by a volunteer crew who serve for two years on the ship. She sails around the world promoting "knowledge, hope & friendship". The ship also boasts the world's largest floating book fair (which is part of their way of promoting knowledge). Unfortunately yesterday we didn't have time after the coffee morning to visit the book fair as we had another event to go to. So this evening I returned to the ship with my husband to buy some books. They were incredibly good value and ended up buying 18 books & 3 cds for Bd45 (aprox USD115). Bargain.

The picture is a bit of a cheat as we weren't allowed to take photos in the dockyard as it is shared with the military, so I photographed the cover of the book which describes all about the ship & her role.
