Hover...Attack....Kill!

It was the September weekend so the kids had the Monday Holiday today and as I was off as well we decided to head out for the day.

First thought was to head up towards Aberfoyle but the weather forecast did not look to good so south we headed - to Crichton Castle.

The weather was great when we got there albeit a bit on the cool side and the castle itself was well worth a visit - but what caught my eye the most while we were there was a Kestrel that decided that it would head out and hunt - and this was my effort at capturing the raptor just before some unsuspecting mouse (or other small fury creature) became lunch.
