Waterfall at Skiddaw

Today was a tad worse than yesterday - typical lake district weather - Raining!!

After a morning at home it was apparent that we needed to get the kids out (I will let you guess about the mood inside!!) - so it was off to Whinlatter Forest which is located just outside Keswick. A fab place to walk/cycle/"Go Ape" and much more. We decided just to go for a walk today (with a wee coffee thrown in for good measure) and after the kids had fun in the woods, it was back to the mill house.

Clare and I then headed up the lower slopes of skiddaw to a fab place which I have photographed in the past but not put onto Blip - decided to get one today and with a wee window in the weather (ie it had stopped raining) I managed to get this shot...
