Still Producing
We slept in. Momma was rattling around downstairs so hubby got up at 6:00 and made coffee. We had breakfast (pear bread from yesterday’s visitors) and bananas. I did some paperwork, hubby mowed/trimmed in the formal garden and Momma rested. Hubby repaired a fence post and one of the ramp boards going into his shed. He tried new crack filler on the driveway. I picked the tomatoes. These yellow ones were really nice but there were 4-5 red ones also plus many yellow and red grape tomatoes. I truly love having a garden. It was nice to have a relatively slow day. Renee sent spaghetti so we had a yummy lunch. We are going to 5:00 Mass. Our weekend is half over. Tomorrow won’t be as quiet. Wishing you time for resting. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. “You rarely get satisfaction sitting in an easy chair. If you work in a garden on the other hand, and it yields beautiful tomatoes, that's a good feeling.” - Dan Buettner
