Silver Spotted Skipper

This will be short. I have been at Kristen’s for hours helping her start packing. Before we left home, I decided to get a photo of this dainty silver spotted skipper-(thanks Kimb for the correct id), not painted lady. It sat on my porch railing and let me photograph it many times. This was a more colorful shot so that’s what I chose. It is almost 9:00 pm and I am beyond exhausted. My mother took a short nap and is horribly confused about where we are and how she got here.
