Weaving

I took D to the station at lunchtime and afterwards I visited Gracefield Art Centre. The current exhibition is called “Picking Up the Thread “ by the British Tapestry Group. I was amazed at the sheer variety of work on display. This is my favourite - one of a pair by Darlington -based artist Jane Riley, who is fascinated by seaweed. It is called “Dhoon Bay Wrack” and is for sale at £12,500. I’ve added an extra to show the detail of her work.

We has some rain overnight but now it’s sunny again, so I am off outside. Tonight I am going to a Friends of Loch Arthur committee meeting.
