Busy Night idda Hill

A cloudy start to the day, but wasn't long before the skies cleared, highs of 22-23⁰c.  Breezy at times, flat calm tonight.

Another day working on the toon essykert with Philip and Ally.  We were on paper recycling waste in the morning around residential areas, then business and big bin general waste in the afternoon.  Watered the garden and greenhouse after work.  Nipped down to Cunningsburgh this evening, then a cuppa with mam and Megan.  Julie and the lasses rolled up too.  Feet up before bed.

Another busy evening in the peat hill.  I've finished bagging up all my peats now, peerie Brian said he'd give me a hand later in the week to bring them home.  Plenty of others in the hill, Uncle John bagging up again, and then the Adamson's loading up the tractor and trailer.  It wasn't just people in the hill.  I moved a pile of peat, underneath was a million midgies sheltering from the laar (breeze) of wind.  They nibbled every exposed bit of skin, on my legs, arms and face!  The Adamson's busy at work, in the North Peat Hill, Cunningsburgh.
