Blackberry Lily?
It is 99°F at the moment (3:28 pm) in the shade but the weather man says it feels like 110°F. And it has been way too hot all day. We ran the sprinklers very early and I went out to water pots out of reach of the spray. Hopefully they will survive this heat wave. Naturally, we did very little all day. My photo is of a new perennial in the driveway garden. I bought the bulbs at a PA Covered Bridge festival a few years ago. This is the first time they have bloomed. Seek says they are blackberry lilies, but who knows. I like how delicate the one-day blooms are. Hubby got a hair cut when the barber opened at 6:00. He researched where to buy and how to install rubber trim on the camper edges. Our RV cover failed earlier in the year. We are going to store the camper in Kristen’s RV garage as soon as it is available so hubby decided not to replace the cover. The hot sun has started to fade the exterior and damage vulnerable parts. Hubby picked Brooklyn up from soccer training and took her home. He napped a bit and is now leaving to stand honor guard for one of his brother Knights. I packed for the trip, gathered more non-perishables, inventories the tubs, typed up the menu and figured out the needed ingredients. We had leftovers for lunch. I’ll make a salad for dinner. Hubby won’t be home until about 8 pm. It’s recliner time. Wishing you some relaxing moments this evening. Stay safe.
