Hosta
Hubby had a ton of errands to run today. He left home around 7:30 and started at a grocery store in the next town to get cookies and turnovers for our trip. Next he took a charitable donation to the collection location and dropped our recycling and trash at the convenience center. He picked up meds, bought burger at the Commissary for the trip and some for me to use to make Lauren her favorite meal for her dinner. Isla had a seizure around 2:00 am. They took her to the ER and did not get back home until around 6:30 am. After extensive testing, they diagnosed her with a virus. I am not convinced. I think this is her third seizure episode. Hubby picked up the camper. He has quite a time getting it in our driveway. Our neighbor’s ice plants may never be the same. I enjoyed breakfast on the front porch, breathing in the wonderful scent of our gardenias. The hosta on the other side of the porch is blooming so I quickly made them my blip. They hardly get noticed since the are tucked in a crevice. I finished packing clothes and food to carry with us, watered the plants in the basement and froze 11 bags of blueberries. Parker brought us more BBQ, beans and slaw. He ran over another solar light so he left his grandfather $20. His mom was with him; it was his first time driving her big Armada in our curvy driveway. Poor kid. I have had very little energy today. Guess my lack of sleep is finally catching up with me. Hubby had an unusually high blood pressure/heart rate issue this afternoon. It seems to have moderated but I plan to monitor it closely. He had no heart attack or stroke symptoms; weird. But he was rather lethargic last week. I would have preferred him to get it checked by professionals today. At least he called his cardiologist and will get checked by her tomorrow. Men and their stubbornness! I hope those of you not feeling well will heal soon. Be safe. Thanks for visiting. “Stretching his hand up to reach the stars, too often man forgets the flowers at his feet.” – Jeremy Bentham
