Gazania.

The Feast of Corpus Christi.
On this Feast Day,.we honour the Eucharistic miracle of the real Presence of Jesus Christ in the consecrated bread and wine.
The Feast Day celebrates bringing God and faith into the world for our redemption.

The Feast Day of Saint Romuald. Abbott. He is remembered for founding monasteries and hermitages in Italy. He died in 1027.

Today is lovely and warm, 23.6c in the living room and a very sweltering 90f in the conservatory.

I watered all the flowerpots because they dry out quickly in this dry heat.

I went to morning Mass at the Church and Year 2 were learning how to do the hand actions for the Our Father. They enjoyed it and performed it well for Father and their teachers and families.

Paul is going into Blackburn this afternoon for an adjustment to his Amplifone hearing aid. It is too hot for me to go on a car journey, so I am watching Jane Eyre on Talking Pictures TV. I had to read the book many years ago for English Literature O Level. Every so often I watch the film, in it's various versions.
It is a well written love story, by Charlotte Bronte who lived with her family in Haworth, Yorkshire.

A beautiful poppy opened in the garden this morning and it is on my other blip site, grace301155. The pattern and colours are lovely. I normally grow orange Welsh poppies, so this one is bold and beautiful.

The blip is a Gazania that has flowered from a plant I bought from the Co op last year.
