MY DAD

ERNEST ( Ernie ) WARNEFORD  21st July 1923 - 27th May 1995

My Dad was called Ernie and he was born in 1923. Married Connie in 1947. He was an engineer. He served in the army and was posted to Malta towards the end of the war. He was father to 3 children.  He was a hard working chap - worked in a factory making mining machinery. He enjoyed going to the local Working Men's Club at the weekend.  In his free time he liked making things with wood and tinkering about with his car.  He passed away in 1995.  Still missed by all the family.. Hope all the Dads out there have had a lovely day.

Just had a day at home today.  Caught up with a few household chores.  Also potted a few shrubs which arrived in the post yesterday.  Watched the Soccer Aid football match this evening. A lot of fun for a good cause. Final score was England  4 World XI  5

Weather was dry today with some sunshine...but it was quite windy.
