THREE LITTLE BIRDIES

I made a slow start to the day and after a late breakfast I started on the ironing pile.  At 2pm I switched on the TV to watch the footie.  Euro 2024 - Hungary v Switzerland.  My favourite Newcastle player Fabian Scar was in the Swiss team.  It was a good match and the final score was Hungary 1 Switzerland 3.   I got through quite a lot of ironing over the course of the game. 

At around 5pm I got the bus to the Co-op.  First stop was the cash point. However I had a mental block and forgot my PIN.  Put three different numbers in .... all wrong .... and then of course my card was returned to me - so no cash for me today. Good job I had enough money with me to cover my shopping. I will have to contact my bank on Monday when their helplines are open.  Old age must be creeping up on me... and I don't like it.

The weather so far had been dry but it rained as I walked home.... very heavy rain which continued for about an hour.

Took my 3 blip shots through the kitchen window using full zoom.  They aren't very sharp but its the best I could do.  The fat balls are very popular at the moment.  The little birds love them.

This morning around 7am when I was in the kitchen getting a drink I saw a squirrel on this fat ball feeder.  I haven't seen a squirrel in my garden for years but maybe this one always comes early and I miss him.  No camera or phone handy so no pics unfortunately.
