Lilies .... and Lily Beetle

Had a quiet day today.  Did a load of washing and some household chores.  Caught up on some TV viewing... mainly " The Chelsea Detective ".

Walked to the Co-op and back this afternoon.  I was going to get a bus there but the buses were " up the creek " again.  The times on the app kept changing... a bus that was due in 10 mins suddenly changed to being due in 23 mins.  Then it disappeared from the app... and the next one showed up as being due in 29 mins.  But then that was cancelled. So I decided to walk.  I had just left the house when a bus passed me... a bus that wasn't even showing up on the app.

The weather was warm and sunny while I was out but earlier we had around 10 mins of very heavy rain.  

Took my blip shots in the back garden.  The first of my lilies are out and looking lovely.  The other pot of lilies aren't in flower  - this is where I spotted the lily beetle.  Hopefully the beetle hasn't done too much damage and the lilies will flower soon.
