An ordinary life....

Private dining...

If you like that kind of thing :-)

One of two little private dining spaces at The Cairn.  They are in the turrets, with curtains that can be drawn across.  We chose to have our Sunday lunch in the Cairn's conservatory instead.

Before that it was chores.  Like to leave a clean and tidy house when we go on holiday.  Vickie send a video to David of Alan to wish him Happy Father's Day.  He's having a ball.  They're also packing, but to head home tomorrow.  They've had a ball.

We then headed to the Cairn for lunch.  I booked it to save us cooking this evening and before I realised it was Father's Day but happy to take the credit for the timing.  Two birds with one stone ;-))

Back to finish packing.  Well D did, all I had to left to pack was a couple of books.  Will add my toilet bag in the morning.  Had a cuddle with Lola before R picked her up at 4pm.  Off she went happy as a happy thing.  Missing her already!

Pleased to be so organised.  D can now relax and watch the final day of The US Open and I can get our itinerary into some sort of logical geographical order.   If the Met office is to be believed the weather for next week in Northumberland is very favourable.  Woo hoo!  :-))
