Pour moi?

Pal P visited at last.  Long overdue and postponed twice as I had sepsis.  Thankfully third time lucky :-))

So lovely to catch up.  Started with lunch then time to sample the Bakewell blondies.  The ones from the centre of the bake were gooey but the ones at the edge were a little overdone, but they tasted ok.  Will make them again so going to buy the correct size cake tin.

We had a belated Christmas and birthday exchange and Lola was happy to take her pressie from the gift bag.  A lovely stuffed toy!  Thankfully P knows her well so he was expecting the de-stuffing that quickly followed! It certainly kept her occupied.  Thank you for our gifts P.  You are such a thoughtful gift giver.  

The rain put paid to any idea of going out so we settled in for the afternoon chatting, snoozing (sorry P!  :-)) and later on watching the third day of the US Open.  Fortunately P likes golf!
