There's a change in the
weather, the heat has eased and
I'm very grateful

I was in Riverside Park before 6. No blue sky or sunshine to greet me. Only the funny marmots and some early pickle ball players to amuse me.

There's more than a dozen members of the marmot colony scampering about. They peered at me from the top of their stone high-rise. Some had expanded to a drainage tunnel in the grass. 

I walked half way to the bridge where my feet said "No more!" I got my long shots of the Overlander Bridge and my mountains, then plodded back down to my car.

The rose garden has some lovely blooms. I managed to step in mud as I was catching some shots there. 

I'm home for the day with some paperwork obligations looming.
