Valentinos

I was still feeling quite strange today, so was glad to be working from home where I didn't have to move around much. I was worried I was going to wake up feeling awful, but just feel really spaced out and achey, so that's good (in a way!).
We had a meal planned with Mum at our local Italian restaurant this evening, and decided to still go for it. Their garlic bread is the stuff of legend around here, so we started with that which filled us up before we'd even started on the mains! We had a wander by the river on the way home; the water was beautifully still and the clouds looked amazing. After waving Mum off, Greg decided to try out a random old-wives tale to finally get rid of his three-year-verruca...I'm currently sat next to him with a slice of garlic gaffer-taped to his toe.
