Sun worship...

I'm not really sure where today has gone.  One minute it was lunch time and now it's after 10pm and I've still to do my online Tesco order!

Engineer came to service Alan's comfy chair after which Alan and Jordan headed out.  D was playing in a golf medal so he left just before midday.  Just me and Lola for lunch.  Made an omelette, which she was happy to share with me. 

Spent the bulk of the afternoon in the study getting the clear up and relocation of materials completed.  Much happier with it all now and I will rely on D less to reach stuff for me.  Got the June birthday cards written.  I like to be organised.  

What usually happens is I write the cards at least two weeks before they need to be posted.  When the time comes I then take them to the kitchen and ask D to post them the following day.  I usually allow a day for him to forget...then five days later I discover he's either tidied them away into a kitchen drawer or they're still in the car.  So if I ever send you a birthday card and it arrives late, you know why :-))

Deliveries from my spending spree started arriving today.  Half the pool towels I ordered aren't quite as big as I thought they'd be!  Long enough but not as wide as the previous ones.  The others are fine.  My new rollator has also arrived.  D will assemble that in the morning.  Not asking him to do it this evening as he didn't play very well in the medal today so he is going over the round hole by hole to see where it all went wrong.  Torture :-)

The clematis was gazing at the sun.  Blip done :-)

Wee aside...I am wearing my favourite socks today.  Blue with large white daisies.  Earlier I said to D with dismay "Awww there's a hole in my sock!"  
"That's where your foot goes Di." was his reply.  He's quite the wag :-/
