An ordinary life....

Perth...

A busy morning.

Tesco delivery, electrician here to fix a faulty switch in the utility room, delivery of our new ensuite towels, D talking to the IBD nurse about Alan's colitis symptoms and cleaning lady here.

D and I escaped to Perth just after 12.30pm to meet friends Keith and Mairi for lunch at The Stone Cafe in Perth Museum.  Bit of an impromptu get together as their intended lunch buddy has shingles and couldn't make it.  We were happy to step in.

Keith and Mairi were slightly late as they hadn't realised Perth Museum is now located in the old Perth City Hall and had headed to Perth Art Gallery where it used to be, about five minutes away.

We had a delicious lunch and a good old chin wag.  K & M's plans to have a wander in the museum after lunch were stymied as after lingering far longer over coffee that planned, they had to head straight to Waterstones before it closed.  We really can blether for Scotland :-)

D and I headed home and D took Lola out for her long walk as he didn't have time this morning.  I discovered a 4 pint carton of milk that D had lain on a shelf in the fridge this morning had leaked everywhere, so began the tiresome task of emptying the shelves and starting the clean up task.  Was a bit ruthless with open jars of pickles, mustards, tartare sauce, and horseradish and have managed to reclaim almost a whole shelf.

Fresh pasta with tomato and basil sauce and a rather nice garlic flat bread for dinner.  This evening we have been mostly snoozing watching rubbish tv.
