Wendy's World

View

I was bemoaning the fact that I haven't blipped a landscape for a while so when I walked up the drying ground to place my wildlife camera this morning I spotted this view which is familiar to me, but which I haven't blipped from this angle previously.

You can see the roofs of houses on the top end of our terrace; P's smallholding fields in the foreground; local farms; shower clouds and the walls which enclose our drying ground.

As predicted, waves of showers have been passing through all day and I was lucky to get back home just as a shower arrived.  Having given out Tony's spare tomato plants to friends and neighbours, we took the remaining plants and some sweetcorn ones down to Hobbler A who is running a plant stall at the Malt Shovel tomorrow in aid of the local hospice.

Due to the showers, we are having a quiet day at home.  I'm planning the next working day in the Drying Ground and hoping to attract our neighbours with a nature trail as an extra.
