Helping Nana

Euan is staying with his other grandparents this half term and today we drove over to help out with him in the afternoon as it was the village fete and Nana and Grandad were running stalls in aid of Cystic Fibrosis.  Euan's Mum and Dad were heading back home so we had a tour of the stalls and watched the maypole dancing before they set off and we gravitated back to Nana's stall.  Euan soon became interested in proceedings and helped with the plants and the money for quite a while before he tired and it was time to take him back to his grandparents' house.

After cuppas, Euan set about teaching me how to play his fun new board game, bought yesterday from Waterstones, Catan Junior.  Despite only playing once, he had remembered all of the rules and patiently explained.  It's a complex game and he soon had me backed into a corner!  We kept going for well over an hour whilst Grandad Tony went back to the village green to help take down the gazebos and bring back the remaining plants.

It was time for some downtime watching tv whilst Nana prepared tea, after which we had huge cuddles before driving home.
