A lonely daffodil.
Mid morning found on the doorstep.
I thought the wind had blown it there as several had been blown down in the wind.
However later on our son, DIL and eldest granddaughter called.
It was they who put the flower there. Found it blown down in the garden, as I expected.
We were both upstairs at the time and hadn’t heard them knock. This was their calling card!
Did make us laugh.
So eventually I received my Mother’s Day card and gift. A Library of scent. Fragrance ‘ Seashell ‘. Lots of goodies including
Scented Diffuser
Oil burner and wax melts
Lidded candle
Room spray
Aroma oil
The house now smells lovely.A beautiful delicate perfume.
Our younger son called later with card and wine.
A day when we all remember our mothers even though many are not with us any more.
Beautiful weather but still a sneaky cold wind.
The week ahead looks to be a good one too, with plenty of sunshine.
