Playing with friends

I’d just woken up when Maddy and Landon burst in to say good morning.

They left me to get up and I joined them for breakfast. First port of call was Maddy’s gymnastics class where she bounced and rolled her way over loads of many soft obstacles and trampolines. She enjoyed herself.

A short nap for Maddy while we got ready for Landon’s baseball game this afternoon. It was Chris’s turn to provide the post match snacks so we packed 15 goodie bags ready for the end of the game.

Unfortunately, the team lost again but it was an enjoyable game to watch. Everyone looks the part, full uniform and all the mannerisms associated with baseball. Chris’s neighbour Elizabeth came to watch with two of her three children which added to the afternoon.

Back home we played outside for over an hour throwing and catching the baseball. The neighbour’s two sons came out to play with our two and a grand time was had by all, you can see in the main blip.

Chris went out for dinner so I invited Elizabeth and her sons over for dinner. There were 6 of us around the table. We had a fine time; her children are a real credit. Elizabeth helped me bath Maddy but I put her to bed and she went down straight away. I haven’t lost my touch even after all these years.

The Padres won 1-0 tonight making it a third win on the trot at the start of the new baseball season.
