Fog

As we drove out of London this morning, the sun rose in my rear view mirror, an orange globe in a blue sky.  Unfortunately when we got to the top of the Chilterns we drove into freezing fog, which didn't clear until 2pm.  I've posted my copy of the Medici Riccardi horse head before but it looks quite dramatic in the fog.

After the fog cleared I noticed the sun and shadow on a pot in the window (extra).  It was a lovely afternoon for dead-heading the hydrangeas (of which I have a lot) as the leaf buds are swelling.
