The birds and the bees

I had two simultaneous thoughts this morning, that I have not used my "proper" camera for 3 or 4 months, and that I have not posted a picture of the Red Kites for ages.  When I found the camera it still had on it the long lens from last time I photographed the Red Kites.  So I went looking for a bird, there's always one hanging around in the trees somewhere.  By the time I found her and started to focus the lens, I saw movement and another Kite swooped into view.  I managed four not very sharp shots, of which this is the best, before it was all over.  It augurs well for the coming breeding season ;-)
