Across the Tummel
Another Friday, another social swim but with our post-swim coffee in the Port-na-Craig as the dam cafe is closed for its annual January break. I enjoyed my walk across the actual to reach the Port-na-Craig where we were made to feel most welcome. This is a view of the Tummel from the walkway. We were surprised on our walk back by two very low flying jets - these are a fairly common occurrence up here but not generally quite so low.
Back home I focused on my Gaelic - I will in Edinburgh over the weekend with limited time/opportunity to do the coursework and wanted to make sure I have done my preparations for next Wednesday's class. I have done so but I do feel I have been taking a surface approach and will go back over when I get back (although I then have another trip to Edinburgh to look forward to followed by a day trip to Inverness). It's hard work being retired !
