fhathast ...

We still have snow  - and it is lovely powdery snow :-). Given the sub-zero temperatures this is not surprising.  It was -11C in our greenhouse overnight and I don't think it has got much above freezing today, if at all.  We have also been treated to bright blues skies today.

This morning my regular yoga class started back. We have moved from the Moulin Hall to the Tryst Hall at the church. It is a nicer hall but I will miss seeing sheep through the windows at Moulin when doing standing postures.  The class was great - a really gentle easing back in with lots of spiraling of arms and legs and we extended them.

After that I went home, got changed and made my way to the Atholl Centre (we have no shortage of halls and spaces which groups can rent) for the u3a Winter Blues Lunch. It is always a  fun affair with a good turnout, new faces and familiar ones and lots of chat. It ends with a raffle - everyone brings a prize and is given a ticket. When it is your turn you get to choose from what's on the table, so no one goes away empty handed.

I'm making leak, carrot and butter bean casserole for tea and after that I will have my "Clàs Comhraidh". It's the last one and I will miss them. My Gaelic has come on a lot through doing them as well as the formal part of the course.
