Quick Early Morning Run

THURSDAY

It was another cold night with temperatures well below freezing and I was surprised to see that another couple of centimetres of snow had fallen overnight.

I put on running gear (including shorts and spiked shoes) and headed out across the fields on a short run. The mud was frozen so it was nice and crunchy underfoot. I had to be home for  an Ocado delivery scheduled for 09:30 (in the event it didn't arrive until nearly 11:00 am).

Snow flurries continued throughout the day so it was a case of staying indoors and keeping warm.
